A PLACE WHERE EVERYONE CAN FIND REFUGE FROM THE STORM
The City of Refuge Community Outreach Ministries exist by the grace of God, to the glory of God and for the edification of the body of Christ.

     To provide the body with the means and purpose of fulfilling the words of the Lord as found in Matthew 25:31-40 “I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me…assuredly, I say to you inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these…you did it to Me.”

       CORCOM glorifies God by obediently serving him through:

•      Providing biblio-centric counseling to assist the body
of Christ in the understanding of the revelation of God.  That the mission of the church must include outreach and ministries to minister to, and meet the needs of the lost and dying of this world. Thereby showing the love of Christ in action. (Matt. 25:31-40, Jas 2:14-17)





•       Marital and Pre-marital counseling.  Exposing through the
 word of God the misconception about relational expectations,
dating, sex, love and gender communications. (Hebrews 13:4)

•      Drug and Alcohol counseling and services.  City of Refuge has partnered with various Christian, Biblical and Nuothetic counselors to provide sound and effective methods of addressing issues faced by those who are held in bondage by drug and alcohol addictions. (John 8:31-32)

•      Community Outreach.  The example of our Lord is clearly expressed in the word, that before addressing the spiritual needs of the world, we need to address their natural and physical needs. And while the edification and education of the saints is imperative. We are missing the blessing of true discipleship, if we are not emulating the actions of the Lord in reaching out to the lost with the expressed love of God.
